  • What happened to your online store? Why can't I order online?

    In order to provide the best shopping experience for our customers, we have had to close our previous online store. We are currently exploring options for relaunching online sales on a new platform; however, until that time we are unable to accept online or phone orders.

  • What is your return policy?

    Items may be returned to any of our locations within 21 days of purchase* for exchange or store credit. We do not offer refunds. Returns must have all original tags and the sales receipt. Sale and clearance items are final sale and may not be returned. All accessories, lingerie, and hosiery are final sale and may not be returned, with the exception of shoes and handbags. Worn, washed, or damaged merchandise will not be accepted for return.

    *Items purchased from November 15th, 2019 until December 25th, 2019 may be returned until January 7th, 2020.

  • I have a store credit or gift card, when will it expire?

    Store credit and gift cards never expire. You may use them any time at any Steps or Kara location.

  • How do I check the balance on my gift card?

    Please contact your local store or email contact@stepsnewyork.com with the serial number on the back of your card to check the balance.

  • I would like to work at one of your locations, how do I apply?

    You may pick up an application at the store, or visit our Indeed page to view current openings.

  • I found a piece I loved at your store but they did not have my size. Will they get more in the future?

    For most styles, no. To keep our inventory new and fresh, we order only small quantities of each item. Once they're gone, they're gone, but we always have new styles arriving so you're sure to find another special piece.

  • I saw one of your outfits on social media or television, can I check if it is in stock at my local store?

    Yes, if you e-mail a picture of the item and your location to contact@stepsnewyork.com or message us on social media we can check the inventory at stores near you.
